Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Early Childhood Teacher or Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. Responsibilities
- Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriate
- Provide basic care and caregiving activities
- Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
- Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider
- Strong understanding of child development or willing to learn
- Patient, kind, and nurturing
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- First aid/CPR certified or willing to get certified
Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Our program is known for providing a very friendly, warm, comfortable, and nurturing environment which allows children to learn at their own pace without feeling pressured. We have smaller teacher to children ratios which can offer a variety of learning experiences to enhance each child’s individual growth. We offer a structured and organized curriculum which promotes many learning experiences and emphasizes having fun and playing.
Goals of the Program
- Increase the range of social interaction with peers
- Help each child gain feeling of self-confidence and self-esteem
- Provide opportunities for the child to develop the ability to share and listen to others
- Provide activities that encourage creativity and experimentation
- Provide opportunities to develop fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, and improve gross motor skills
- All children will be encouraged to learn at their own pace and will be given the same amount of praise and acknowledgement for their own accomplishments regardless of their peers who may be advancing at a faster pace
